WF_093 workshop took place in Poznań, Poland from Oct 17th untill Oct 23rd. We started with the introduction to generative and parametric design tools and the introduction to digital fabrication. After the participants developed the idea we started designing. All 13 participants developed the form using Rhinoscripting. We were able to parametrically adjust the final form to the sheets size of the material. The object was fabricated from 8mm MDF sheets using a 2-axis CNC mill.

Super foty! Niezwykle ciekawie to wyszło
How were you doing the sections? were you using a script or what?
thanks alot I really need some info and technique, so if you could plz tell me abt a website that teaches rhino scripts
the script was written to create form of given dimensions, and then do sections with cuttings and unroll it for fabrication. however if you just want to do a couple of sections you can simple use command ‘contour’ in rhino without scripting.
if you want to learn scripting it’s good to take a look at ‘rhino’ manual about scripting, which gives general overview and later on follow some simple scripts from different websites (we have a couple examples on our blog as well but you can take a look at http://www.kokkugia.com/wiki/index.php5?title=Main_Page). you are also welcome to take part in our workshops.
