Geneva

Woah, Geneva is quite a city, my wallet took a beating but I had a lot of fun there last month. I had to attend a few conferences while I was there which were rather boring but once I got them out of the way I could explore the city. It was my 1st time here so its always good when I get sent somewhere now rather than the same old.

There is a hell of a lot of culture to soak up in this city and even though Id been arranged a car hire Geneva Airport deal I really didn’t need it as I mainly walked and used public transport. It  is of course the best way of getting to know a city as you can see exactly how everything works. I found the locals very friendly and quite helpful the one time where I went astray. The transportation system is easy to understand which is also a great help.

I got home late at night, tired but happy that I had experienced a new city. I guess traveling for work does have its perks at times. There are many cities in the world that I never would have seen were it not for my job. I should complain less
